Mr. David Larson to join MCCS as new principal.
The MCCS Board of Directors awarded the very first Leonardo DaVinci Award to Dr. Barbara Smith. The award recognizes Dr. Smith’s role as the founding principal of MSSC and thanks her for her “vision, leadership and dedication to the children in our founding year of The Middleburg Community Charter School.”
MCCS proudly celebrated the first graduating class of 5th graders. The students are moving on and will attend Blue Ridge Middle School, Simpson Middle School, Harper Park Middle School and Mercer Middle School.

A group of teachers, parents and students from Middleburg Community Charter School made their support for the first-year school known to Loudoun’s School Board this week.
During the public comment portion of Tuesday’s board meeting, 17 from the school community took turns at the microphone to describe an environment of creative learning at the charter school.
